Goal Setting
I wanted to be a better person. I wanted to accomplish something worthwhile in my life. Do you want to be a better person? Do you want to accomplish something worthwhile? Do you want to be more than you are right now? Do you often times have an unexplainable urge to succeed at something and to grow beyond your current surroundings? I know that I did, but I didn't know how to acheive this goal. If the answer is yes then you should feel relieved. This shows that you have hope for a better life. . Sadly, much of the population is missing that hope. It could be because of any reason, but I think the most common reason is because we lack hope that it CAN happen to you. We think we are not capable of being great. We think we haven't done anything so far in our lives, so why would that change? What about you? I'm 62 years old and just now discovered this. I thought phooey, its too late for me. But I learned . I studied and bought ebook after ebook. They all helped me. I have included links to these ebook HERE . I learned from all those books that I read and studied, and it WORKED. It wasn't until I started actually setting goals, and taking steps to achieve those goals that I felt like I was accomplishing anything. My goal was to put together a meeting place for people like me to quit procrastinating and start accomplishing things. And it happened just one goal at a time. I just kept going one goal at a time. And I will continue to use this process with everything that I want to acheive. One Step at a Time. One GOAL AT A TIME. Just start with one goal, get it done, and then move on to the next. My only goal was to set up this website. And that was hard for me.... I kept going off in other directions and started other things that I felt that I had to do. But I didn't. I just finished this. Look at my Menu bar..... Plenty of things that I forced myself not to start so that I could get this one thing done...... helping people accomplish their goals. And it really is just one step at a time.
It Doesn't Matter What Goal You Want To Achieve
It doesn't matter what it is you wish to do. I wanted to learn to be a better cook and put something together to help people accomplish dreams and goals. The goal formula works for whatever you want to do.The feeling a person gets after just climbing Mt. Everest is the direct result of them knowing how to take steps towards reaching their dream through setting goals. That knowledge got them there. I never climbed Mt. Everest ( and never really wanted to) but just getting this book together was like climbing Mt. Everest to me. And you know what I am saying is true. YOu will get the same feeling when you achieve your goals.
How long has it been since you got that feeling of accomplishment?
What are your dreams? Your aspirations? What in this world do you want to do before it's too late?
And what did you do today to get you closer to that goal? If you haven't done anything yet, it's not too late. Look at me... I did it... YOU CAN TOO.
Setting Realistic Goals
If your goals are to get out of debt it can seem very overwhelming. Taking the first step towards starting your own business can seem like your jogging the first lap of the Indianapolis 500. ( Mine were never that great, I just wanted to be happy with myself.) But what successful people know that others don't......is that it you meet your goals by tackling them realistically, step by step, and with confidence you can accomplish these goals. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT AND IF SOMEONE TELLS YOU THAT IT CAN.... THEY ARE NOT BEING TRUTHFUL. If they tell you that you have to take the first step, they are right.
My 50 page report, "Your Guide To Setting Goals Successfully," tells you how to do just that. This thoroughly researched guide can be downloaded straight to your computer. And it's packed with goal setting know-how. Its the first step. IF YOU DO NOT TAKE THAT FIRST STEP...... YOU WILL NOT TAKE THE OTHER STEPS. Take that first step today.
